TBB Members and others willing to help! VERY IMPORTANT!!!!!!
Hi Everyone,
My name is Mindi Peterson and I am the Co-Founder of an organization called Odori 73 Hiphop Worldwide and also a member of The Bronx Boys Rocking Crew (TBB). I am writing this today for a very important cause. My husband, Ziggy (Founder of Odori 73 and also member of TBB) and I have working for the past two years to bring light to REAL values and morals of Hiphop Kulture. Especially teaching the youth and helping them spread this knowledge and understanding to other young people.
Recently I was informed of a huge worldwide Hiphop event called Outbreak 5 which is being held in Orlando, FL on December 11 & 12, 2009. This event has become important for the members of Odori 73 and TBB because for the first time in a long time there will be a panel discussion about Hiphop Kulture and particularly the Bboy community at this event. I am hoping to discuss and bring attention to the problems in the kulture and take action on these issues. The organization is trying to bring ONLY positivity. The media has made the kulture very universal and worldwide, but it does not represent the true nature and values that come from the people who have completely embraced the kulture through their life struggles, NOT for fame and fortune. I would love to give our young members the chance to be apart of this historic event and get the chance to share their stories. Most of the young members have never been able to travel out of their own cities or towns ever and have never given the chance to be a part of something like this. These young people have huge talent and even bigger hearts and can really bring about positive change for everyone around the world if just given the voice and chance!
In conclusion, I humbly ask for your help. The organization would like to help fund as many members as possible to get to this event from wherever they are in the world.
